Under the theme "New Engine of Blue Development for the Maritime Community with a Shared Future," the World Ocean Week in Xiamen 2025 will be held from November 6 to 12, coinciding with its 20th anniversary. Aligning global trends with Xiamen's priorities, the event focuses on marine economic development, ecological conservation, and technological innovation. It actively implements SDGs while deepening collaboration with Belt and Road partners and BRICS nations, accelerating Xiamen's evolution into a modern marine city. Nearly 20 activities will engage over 500 global maritime experts. At the industrial level, it spotlighted marine pharmaceuticals and deep-sea equipment through business matchmaking and launched projects like Lujiang Innovation Laboratory.
